Hearty Oats with Fruit and Almonds
Breads & Cereals
1/2 cup rolled oats
2 cups almond milk (store bought or try our Classic Almond Milk recipe)
1/2 mixed dried fruits, chopped
2 tablespoons Mandelin Blanched Sliced Almonds
2 tablespoons Mandelin Premium Almond Paste, grated.
With a cheese grater, grate 2 tablespoons refrigerated almond paste.
Put the oats, milk, and chopped dried fruit in a nonstick saucepan.
Bring to boil, then lower the heat and simmer gently for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Serve in individual bowls, sprinkled with sliced almonds, grated almond paste, and sliced fresh fruit.
