Grilled Fruit Pouches
Almond Milk And Frozen Treats
4 peaches or nectarines, cut in half, pitted and sliced
2 cups blueberries
2/3 cup raspberries
freshly squeezed juice of 1 orange
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons Mandelin Blanched Sliced Almond or Mandelin Blanched Slivered Almonds
Put the fruit in a large bowl, add the orange juice, cinnamon, and sugar, and mix well. Divide the fruit mixture among four sheets of foil. Fold the foil over the fruit and seal the edges to make pouches.
Preheat the grill, then cook the pouches over medium-hot coals for 5 to 6 minutes. Remove the packages from the heat, open carefully, and transfer to four serving bowls. Serve with ice cream or yogurt. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon Mandelin almonds.
